I’m changing my regular working hours from Monday so it’s easier to get your heating sorted without having to take time off during the day.
You can call or message me at any time. The change is to the hours that jobs are booked in for.
New appointment hours
If you send an enquiry outside those hours, that’s absolutely fine. I’ll pick it up and arrange a time with you. The actual visit or installation work will be booked into the hours above.
What can be booked?
The new hours apply to the domestic heating work I carry out across Dunfermline and Fife, including:
- Boiler servicing
- Boiler repairs and fault finding
- Boiler installation and replacement
- Heat-pump servicing and repair
- Heat-pump installation work where appropriate
- Heating controls and smart thermostats, including Hive
Larger installation jobs sometimes need a bit more planning than a service or repair, so I’ll confirm what is practical once I know what the job involves.
Why evenings and weekends?
A lot of people put off getting a boiler serviced or having a heating problem looked at because they don’t want to lose a day at work waiting for an engineer.
The idea is simple: give you appointment times that are easier to fit around normal working hours. If an evening suits you, book an evening. If the weekend is easier, we can arrange that instead.
Need to get in touch?
You don’t need to wait until 6pm to contact me. Call, WhatsApp or use the website whenever it suits you. If I can’t answer straight away, I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
If it’s a boiler or heat-pump fault, it helps if you include the make and model, any fault or error code you can see and a couple of photos if they’re useful. That gives me a better idea of what I’m coming out to before the appointment.
Please note: these are booked appointment hours, not a 24-hour emergency call-out service. If you smell gas or suspect carbon monoxide, call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999.
